The Sutter Delta Medical Center offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in contributing to the wellness of our community. There are four major volunteer groups, each with their own mission and direction. If you are interested in volunteering with one of these groups, please contact them and let them know.

Sutter Delta Medical Center Auxiliary

Since 1964, the nearly 100 men and women of the Auxiliary have given thousands of hours each year performing crucial functions around the hospital, from assisting patients and visitors at the information desk and performing various clerical tasks, to holding fundraisers to purchase needed equipment for the hospital. The Auxiliary membership is open to anyone in the community who would like to volunteer their time. Membership applications are available at the front desk of the hospital lobby.

Sutter Delta Medical Center Chaplain Advisory Board

The Sutter Delta Medical Center Chaplain Advisory Board is an interfaith advisory board comprised of community clergy and lay advisors, as well as employees and physicians. The board's mission is to help shape the interfaith spiritual care for the patients at Sutter Delta Medical Center. This board meets on a quarterly basis.

Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors

The Delta Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of 30 members who volunteer their time and talents to seek philanthropic support for programs and services for Sutter Delta Medical Center. Since its inception in 1977, the Foundation has donated over $9.5 million to SDMC in philanthropic support received from the residents of Eastern Contra Costa County.
